Coming soon, McKinnon Hall, the building’s original 1911 billiards hall is being restored and relaunched as a cocktail lounge and pool hall. Up to 30 attendees can enjoy an evening of food, cocktails, wine, lounging, and pool through buying out this space. With rich industrial character, 16 foot original concrete walls, and lounge and table seating, this space can host a variety of gatherings, from a reception to private meal to small meeting. And, best of all, the event can be capped with whisky and pool on our vintage tables.

The Explorers Society and Quartermaster are not general purpose catering facilities and operate evenings. Generally, our events cap at 70 people. Weddings generally require a 2-night full hotel buyout, a 1-night welcome reception, and a 1-night restaurant buyout in order for us to deliver a quality experience and not affect our other loyal Explorers. Events must conform to Provincial health guidelines. Outside food, beverage, and liquor is not permitted.
